About Elavarasi

Hi there! 
I'm an experienced and driven academician; professor and teacher with about 7 years of experience teaching/researching Computer Science right from the elementary level to undergraduate level students.

Target students:
1.  K-12 Basic CS concepts and coding fundamentals
Visual block based programming languages like Scratch, Blockly, Javascript, MIT App Inventor etc.
2. College/University
Core CS subjects like Digital logic, Computer Organization & Architecture or C programming 

Bit more about myself!  
I create digital content to make computer science easily accessible and inclusive for all. I am also a poet who writes (in medium) about nature, life and computer science concepts.

What makes special about my teaching style is my ability to connect deeply with the stduent and empower them to be the best version of themselves. My students like the way I break the stereotype of authoritative teaching and focus on learning and growing together as fellow humans. I welcome all kinds of learners in my classroom and respect the learning pace of every student. 
My classes are student driven. I probe students' interests first and make sure that they get the big picture while making learning a simple and joyable experience.
