I earned a Bachelors degree in Business administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino and I also have a Masters' degree in the aforementioned concentration.
I have been a math tutor since 2005 and began tutoring accounting in 2017. I began tutoring as a senior in high school and I have tutored elementary math, ASVAB math, GED math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
I have tutored people of several demographics and several needs (test prep, getting ahead in class, and homework help). I make it a point of responsibility to provide progress reports to parents of minors who receive tutoring from me so that they can adequately gauge the needs of their student. I also volunteered for 2 years as a tutor with the County of San Bernardino library system and I have been running a tutorial service since 2015.

Accounting and Math are my tutoring areas of focus.
I have tutored accounting students since 2018 both online and in person helping them understand concepts like:
The accounting equation, journal entries, ledger postings, financial statement preparation, ratio analysis/interpretation, inventory valuation (FIFO, LIFO and other methods), receivables, bank reconciliation, payables and bond liabilities, asset acquisition and depreciation and stockholders equity accounting amongst other concepts.
I have experience tutoring math concepts like linear expressions, systems of equations, exponents, logarithms, radical expressions, perimeter, area and surface area of geometric figures, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, Pythagorean theorem and other math concepts in Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry.
I am also a patient teacher who is able to show how to solve problems with more than 1 method.
