About Teresa
Hi! I'm Teresa and I taught 3rd and 4th graders all subjects for four years in Maryland. It was really fun, and now I love to tutor students one-on-one. This allows me to give my full attention, and better attend to academic and emotional needs. I also love getting to know my students, and using their interests as part of my teaching!
I have worked with kids for many years, having started as a camp counselor, kids swim instructor, nanny and private tutor before moving into full-time teaching in schools.
I taught students as a para educator, substitute teacher, and full-time teacher. I taught third grade for two years in-person, and fourth grade for two years virtually as part of Baltimore County's Virtual Learning Program. I bring these skills to the table as an online tutor, and I can't wait to work with your child and help them succeed academically!
