About Sophia
A passionate, adaptable and highly motivated individual who brings energy, organization, and enthusiasm to every opportunity. I believe in equity and social justice across all borders and intersectionalities, and my experience with AmeriCorps, City Year, and Teach For America have allowed me to bring these ideals to life in the many classrooms I have served in. My experience includes teaching as a student professor, as an IB high school teacher, Intervention Specialist, middle school Reading teacher, Theater Director, and as an Arts programming manager for education. I look forward to helping all of my students grow in their passions and in the subjects they may struggle with.
