I am an avid believer that every person has a unique way of learning and if learning is approached in the way that the individual needs then anyone can be successful in any given subject. I have seen this time and time again in my years of teaching. I believe that confidence and security are the most important things for an individual to be given in order to succeed in any capacity and I pride myself in being able to give that to every student I have worked with.
I studied history for 4 years in University as well as English and am well versed in both fields; from subject knowledge to key components of each subject (essay writing, research).
I have a specialization in literacy and numeracy (primary) and am qualified in Supported Literacy with 2 years of evidence showing my ability to move struggling students up to 2 years in grade level for literacy and numeracy. I also have a University degree in English, History and International Development.
