Working as PhD student in Biochemical Engineering, with my project focus on genetic engineering, I'm very engaged with both the scientific and humanistic side of biological sciences and their technological advancements.
I thoroughly enjoyed my degree and would like to pass on my knowledge and passion to those with similar interest, and to aid those struggling to get to grips with these subjects.
I have tutored other undergraduates from my department, as well as performing practical demonstrations and teaching of unit operations which I had a blast!
I have dyslexia, so I am personally experienced in the need for teaching to be tailored for my particular perspective, and I believe I have a gift in meeting people where they are at.
I feel this along with my gregarious and patient nature makes me a good candidate for educating and broadening my students.
