Well, hello there! My name is Nicole Palkowski. I began private tutoring at the young age of 11. My elementary school in Indiana had a program for older students to tutor younger students in the library. However, it almost stunted this career path, as my first student was a kindergartner who stabbed me in the hand with his pencil. It's a funny story now! After graduating high school, I attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. Four years and four majors later, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science specializing in Animal Biology and Communications. Although science and math are my preferred subjects, I'm sort of a tutoring chameleon. I've tutored the following: math, science, history, english, writing, reading comprehension, and standardized prep. I graduated in 2009, moved home and have tutored for the last 11 years here in Florida. I enjoy building students' confidence!
