About Loretta
I am a biomedical engineer originally from Australia and I moved to the US after I met my American husband. I love to learn, and I love to see my students thrive in their enjoyment of learning! I aim to help students achieve their goals for grades in math and science subjects with a tutoring style that is friendly and encouraging. I am also rigorous in guiding students to come to answers themselves, to undersand concepts before building on their tools to solve problems quickly. I have found that my own rigorous math learning has come in handy in many aspects of life outside school from family budgeting to building new medical technologies through my work.

Throughout my college years I had the opportunity to tutor one-on-one with high school students in math, physics and chemistry. After this I spent time as a university tutor in undergraduate electrical engineering where I helped groups of students with laboratory work, homework questions and support through online learning. I find it immensely enjoyable to lead students to discover the reward of learning through science and math subjects.
