I am an easy going Australian/Canadian teacher who builds great rapport with students and utilises a strong professional understanding of curriculum to help students with the subject they are having difficulties with. As a classroom teacher I have built a strong working realtionship with my students using the N.S.W. Department of Educations quality teaching framework as well as the British Columbia Ministry of Educations curricular competencies. I expect students to put in effort with their studies and believe that with my help, the effort they put in, will produce the results they want. I offer strong guidance and great goalsetting, leading students to be excited by their learning. Learning should be fun and with my help as a tutor, hopdefully we can make it so.

Specialities
I specialize in most English or Theatre based High school subjects, but my last temporary block was teaching the 2nd and 3rd grade, which gave me experience in teaching students in stage 2 and 3 (3,4,5 and 6th grade). I am currently a full time Secondary teacher teaching Drama, English 10 and Studio Art. I also hold a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) which gives me an understanding of teaching both adults and children with an ESL background. ALSO as a trained actor, I have over 20years experience in teaching acting to both adults and students. I can tutor for upcoming auditions, castings and drama school placements. I specialize in both stage and screen so feel free to ask me a question.
