About Jerry
I am excited to help you with your lesson! I from San Luis Obispo, California, USA, and I teach grades 5th to 12th. I also tutor students who are in college. I specialize in the subjects of English, Speech, and Psychology. I love to help students who get stuck and need help. So if you are younger than a 5th grader or older than high school students I can still help you!
I consider my self to be a coach/tutor because I coached High school Basketball for 12 years. I realized motivating my players to become the best possible players, the best version of themselves is no different than the approach I take with tutoring. I get excited when a student suddenly becomes excited and eager to ask questions and challenge themselves because we are having fun learning and my students like my former players love coming to practice. I get excited about dancing three times a week, and bike riding every Saturday, and when the weather is good surfing at my nearby beach. Schedule a lesson today!
