I have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics with a minor in Psychology. I graduated summa cum laude with a 3.95 GPA. I also have special teaching licenses in TEFL and TESOL My greatest passion in life is teaching. I have experienced great success in my academics, due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to help my students, whatever their abilities may be. Education has given me the opportunity to find what I am passionate about. My goal is to help my students gain that same opportunity through tutoring.

I have over 20 years of experience tutoring all grade levels including adults and special needs students in, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, Language Arts, and all aspects of Psychology. In my experience, no two students are alike, and I'm able to quickly identify unique needs, to help each student progress quickly! Students find me patient, kind, and fun to work with. Because my background includes lots of experience with special needs students, I am effective with ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and students on the spectrum. Regarding ESL tutoring, I have a deep understanding of the science and research behind the way English as a second language is learned. Because I also train teachers who are using state-adopted ESL materials, I have access to lots of great resources.
