About James

Languages and teaching are my absolute passion! For me language lessons need to be engaging and deliver as much language exposure as possible whilst making the student feel comfortable! Recapping previously learnt material is also vital in order to make progression and create a feeling of achievement which will help you learn more.

I have been working for several years in language teaching in a British secondary school and am currently the head of department for languages. I teach up to IB Diploma Programme level (high school leaver's certificate). I am a fully qualified teacher and hold a Masters in Education as well as Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.

Finally, I engage in professional development opportunities through my regular job in order to keep my teaching skills and knowledge as up-to-date as possible. I usually attend one or two teaching conferences per year.
