About Jaclyn
Hello! My name is Jaclyn. I am an ESL teacher from Toronto, Canada. During my undergraduate degree, I studied languages and literature. Among other subjects, I found a particular passion for Spanish, and later completed a Master of Arts in Hispanic Literatures and Cultures. I've immensely enjoyed my own journey as a language learner, and it eventually evolved into a passion for teaching language and being a part of others' learning processes. Since completing a TESOL Certificate at the University of Toronto (2015-2016), I have taught English to students from diverse backgrounds and of many different ages in a variety of settings. Most recently, I worked as an English Language Assistant in Madrid, Spain, from 2018-2022 with students aged 11-18 , but I also have years of experience teaching adults in individual and group settings. I believe that I have the teaching background to offer a fruitful, personalized experience to my students.
