Hello, my name is Gillian.
I tutor grade 8-12 Chemistry and Science.
I am an English speaker. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have over 20 years Physical Science teaching to a vast demographic of students in different schools. I have a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry and a 1 year diploma in high school teaching.My passion is for the Sciences-Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Science and the outdoors make my heart sing! I have remediation experience.
Although high-achieving students are wonderful to work with, I take great delight in helping students fill the gaps in their content knowledge and in developing their learning styles. Ultimately I'd like every student to succeed at their set targets becoming confident in their problem-solving skills and developing independent thinkers.I have taught at an international online school for the last 2 years and am an effective communicator with students on line.
