I am Favour Makinde. I am a graduate of Chemical Engineering. I am a registered engineer, and I hold a second degree in Petroleum Engineering. I taught Grade 8 Introductory Technology, for over 2 years. Also, I taught Grade 12, Chemistry, and Grade 11 Further Mathematics for about 2 years. In addition, I was a research assistant in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, for over a year, where I helped tutor the year 2 Engineering students in a high-level programming language called FORTRAN 90/95 before becoming a full-time lecturer in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Covenant University for about 5 years. One of my passions and commitments is to give my students the tools they need to be successful in their educational journeys, in essence, I believe in teaching my students how to fish rather than giving them a fishes.
