Hi, I'm Evan.
I have been teaching Mathematics now for 15 years, starting as a tutor in my own college. I have a degree in Mathematics and consider myself a mathematican. My journey has taken me through the public, charter, and private school systems; where I am certified to teach in the IB, IGSCE, and US standards of curriculum. I am a worldtraveler, a father, and mathematics teacher. The reason we all learn mathematics is to become proficient communicators of quantity. For this reason, I believe approaching mathematics as the product of a language that communicates quantity is vital to understanding the fundamental properties of mathematics. I have taught math in Africa, the Middle East, South-East Asia, and Central America, as well as my home country in California, where I am trained and certified to teach as a credentialed math teacher.
