Experienced in academic coaching, tutoring, and professional tutoring and mentorship. I have a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy and have been tutoring and/or teaching others science (Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, etc.), math (the Algebras), and English for 12 years.
I come from a family of teachers - my mother and grandmother are teachers! As a result of both growing up assisting my mom in her classroom, & completing an academic degree and post-graduate residency, I have a knowledge of how to work with different ages and comprehension levels. I know how to break difficult concepts down so that they can be grasped more easily; I also know how to present information in ways that are engaging and fun to the learner.
I am patient with those who need it, and always motivating with every student that I teach. I am also sensitive to those with learning disabilities, particularly ADHD.
