Clifton Luke graduated from Harvard University with summa cum laude honors and Phi Beta Kappa distinction. He holds a PhD in cognitive science from Harvard University, earned in 3.5 years. Dr. Luke is a former mathematics teacher and department head. In 1992 he earned distinction as a master math teacher by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation (Princeton University), awarded to 50 educators nationwide. He taught math to Upward Bound high-schoolers in Boston and to University of Phoenix college students. He has a golden retriever, Jackson, who is a certified animal assisted therapist; they volunteer together in schools and hospitals, brightening people's days.
