I am a passiontate, enthusiastic teacher who believes in creating fun, engaging lessons to help students become excited about learning. I have taught at the elementary level in both England and Kyrgyzstan. My time in England was invaluable. My classes included students from a wide range of backgrounds with diverse learning needs. It was here that I learned the importance of lesson differentiation to accomodate many different learning styles, strengths, and challenges. It was here that I was also able to develop my classroom management skills. I worked with several children with behavioural needs, and learned how crucial it is to get to know each child as an individual to help them navigate and manage these issues. In Kyrgyzstan I worked with a high number of English Language Learners (ELLs). It was through a combined use of visual aids and teacher modelling that I was able to overcome the language barrier. I am very dedicated, and believe in developing a rapport with students.
