Hello!
I am currently a Biology Professor at a liberal arts university and I love to work one-on-one with students! I have tutored students at the middle school, high school, and college level. I am trained in pedagogy and use that training in order to individualize the type of tutoring each student may need!
I have trained with the Center for the Integration of Teaching, Learning, and Research (CIRTL) at Northwestern University and was awarded the certifications of CIRTL Scholar, Practioner, and Associate. Additionally, I have completed a year-long Teaching Certification Program with the Searle Center for Advanced Learning at Northwestern University.
While I work with college level students every day, during graduate school I led a program called Morning Mentors that specialized in tutoring middle school students so I am more than comfortable with assisting all grade levels in their educational endeavors!
