I am from South Africa, fully bilingual (English/Afrikaans) and have a degree (cum laude) in Applied Linguistic with English, Russian, Classical Greek, German, Linguistics, and Interpreting as subjects. I also have a Diploma from a Bible College, a Counseling Certificate, and a TEFL / TESOL Certificate.
I am a TEFL certified teacher with 21 years of experience in teaching.
Being in Russia and North Macedonia for 10 years, my job was interpreting, translating, English classes, Biblical studies, and counseling.
I follow the practical communicative approach, teaching English, Afrikaans, and Classical Greek.
Being sensitive to students’ abilities and interests, I support and encourage them with patience to take risks using the language.
