Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself, my name is Angelo Valentino Capone. I live in Toronto, Canada, a vibrant city that people from all over the world call home.Over the past two years I have had the opportunity to travel extensively. Visiting countries from Asia to Europe and Africa; I have learned that people all have the same dreams. We all want the ability to learn more from each other and share our knowledge of the different cultures we represent.
During my travels i had a wonderful opportunity to teach English to both young children and adults in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. For one year we exchanged language skills and culture. I taught my students not to be afarid of making mistakes when learning a new language and they taught me what to experience in Vietnam. I encouraged them to use all the tools around them, from reading store signs to using cell phones. My goal was to instill passion in my teaching and work with each student in bringing out there's.
