About Allison
Hi! I'm Allison. I am a professional tutor dedicated to helping students improve their fundamental skills, such as reading comprehension, oral and written communitcation, and math. Before transitioning professional tutoring, I pursued a Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. There, I focused on the early Middle Ages, developing an expertise in premodern Europe. In addition to my education in the humanities, I worked as a legal and technical writer at an immigration law firm, where I had the opportunity to discuss others' research in the STEMs and medicine.
