Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor at Umm Al Qura University. My research in M. Phil and Ph.D. broadly fell in the area of Organic, Pharmaceutical, and Analytical Chemistry. Particularly specialized in developing new methods and protocols for in vitro analysis of drug-drug interactions. I also researched for six months as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Purdue University, Indiana.

It is with great excitement that I look ahead to being a teacher or professor, given the experiences that I have had with teaching over the past 9 years. I have been fortunate enough to be teaching in several courses at Umm Al Qura University including General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Organic synthesis, Thermodynamics, Petroleum and Analytical Chemistry. In each of these courses, I give a lecture and/or lead sections, constructing exams, and grading papers. I have also had the opportunity to be a co-supervisor in final year's projects. Each course presented a wonderful opportunity to learn and to grow as a teacher.
My desire to engage, challenge, and inspire growth in my students is not limited to the classroom.
