About Andrew
I have more than twenty years´ experience teaching. I have taught at schools, colleges and universities in several countries in different parts of the world, such as Britain, Spain, China, Saudi Arabia and Oman, and have taught students from many different cultures and backgrounds. I have greatly enjoyed that experience. I love to keep learning, and think that is an important part of life. I now live in Spain.
My main subject is art, which is my passion, and I also teach English on line.
To teach effectively, I put myself in the students´ shoes and guide them in the way that they need to be able to learn. I make lessons challenging but achievable, adapt the content to suit students´ requirements and purposes, and vary it to make it interesting. I aim to boost students´ confidence so that they get as much out of the lessons as possible, and learn as quickly as possible.

Specialities
As well as teaching English Language, I also teach younger ESL students maths, science, geography, history, reading and art through the medium of English.
I teach Arts And Storytime to very young ESL students, where the students read a story in English and then engage in a hands-on artistic activity based on the theme of the story, which helps them learn to communicate, express themselves and follow instructions in English.
I teach Art to students of all levels, especially painting and drawing.
I have an advanced level of Spanish, and teach Spanish from a beginner´s level to medium level.
